Press Release
A press release is one of the most common outputs in PR work, typically an event announcement with news value published by the company/organization we represent. Spread this information and event to the public through media releases. A good press release not only needs to be professional and fluent in terms of text and grammar, but also needs to be effective in order to capture the media's interest, create media value for it, and attract readers.
Media Pitch/Media Invitation
Media pitch is one of the routine processes in PR work. After we produce a press release, we need to invite and reach out to journalists/editors, and use the media pitch to encourage them to adopt our content, using the press release as the basis and material for media reporting.
If a press release explains the information and content of an event, then the process of Media Pitch is to let you tell the media/editor why the event deserves their attention and coverage. In summary, as you can see, we can only go to Pitch Media with the content of press releases because they are inseparable and often discussed together.
